No before we didn't have Goyo and Formula @2. Now we do. Goyo and Formula aren't going to be all that relevant for anything except pushing Legendary Collection 5D's sales. E-Dragons: Forbidden Soul Charge: Limited/Forbidden Mermail Abyssteus: Limited Artifact Moralltach: Limited Supply Squad: Limited Kuribandit: Limited Soul Drain: Semi-Limited Torrential Tribute: Semi-Limited Those are the things that desperately needed to happen, but didn't. Here's hoping we see those changes in October. Soul Drain and TT I wouldn't mind. However, TT was unlimited in the OCG due to Pendulum Summonings which the TCG won't have until the 11th of this month. Same thing can be said of Supply Squad. Soul Charge is a balanced card. Giving up 1000 lp per monster and the ability to attack that turn balances the card well enough. Kuribandit could deal with a hit. Mermails have had interest in their decks wane. Banning the E-Dragons is over kill. The pure ruler decks are dead, the hybrid decks can easily be countered. Artifact Moralltach is too new TCG only has had that card since May. We can't count the amount of time that the OCG has had that card because both the TCG and OCG lists are being kept separate.

Monster Reborn is more of a balanced card. Plant Ruler. Dragunity Ruler. Hieratic Ruler. Mythic Ruler. LS Ruler. Dragunity were basically made uncompetitive/unplayable because of Rulers, and a bunch of cards are still sitting on the list only because Rulers are still legal. They break everything they touch. Just finish it already. The whole "too new" argument is invalid in my eyes since there are several instances of new cards getting slammed (Fire Fist Rooster, for example).

Wasn't monster reborn banned for a reason though....I don't like soul charge, but bringing it back won't solve anything.

Into "the perfect set-up" is a very rare thing in this game. A good duelist will find a way to break an improbable field. A great duelist will already have the tools necessary to do so in hand or on the field. Yes there are a lot of ruler decks. But they aren't as insane as the pure ruler builds of formats past. As for the "too new" arguement all of those cards getting hit after they came out was back when the TCG and OCG had similar lists. We no longer have that. TCG Konami is going to do whatever they have to to push new/current products making them money and also making the "too new" arguement valid.

Bad list, but I guess the meta is pretty decent compared to other times.

I kind of agree with the Dragon Rulers argument... too many cards in the list just because there 4 cards are still out there. It is not good... And I would love to get my dragunities back. Surelly, the decks needs Tempest to work well but I wouldn't mind to have it just playable...

If you want to play Drgunities that badly, make a traddy format version of the deck.
It becomes extremely fun then. All those toys you get to access.

Well... I would but I have little time to play that I prefer being semi-ready for real competition.
And I can always try to find a way to make that deck work without Dragon Ravine.

Going to be real tough to do that. Might need to research before the Dragunity structure came out to get the deck in working order.
