Personally I don't care as long as I can get a shiny version of the stuff I want.

Well... How many total sets will be reprinted? 5? or 4?
If we get 5, I doubt that they will leave any secret out... so... 40 secrets available, you get 3 per pack... 3 in 40 possible is not better than 1 in 8, but we usually need to get a whole box to get that one... at least this will be a bit cheaper to get a better chance than the 1 in 8. This might make the cards a little bit less expensive.
But this is if they reprint all the secrets... we still don't know about that.

IIRC it was 4 sets, but that is 400 cards and the set will only be 257 for the Mega Tin Pack. Some stuff will be left out, just don't know what.

I hope that they leave some of the banned cards and the dragon rulers out of this but I doubt that. Still... we will have 32 secrets at maximum... I like it.

I'm kinda hoping they drop things like the Mega Monarchs. Mobious was the only one worth a damn.

You know, these kind of "sets" are a perfect fit for "janky" Secret Rares since you're getting all these other holos in the same pack. You can pull Mega Grandsoil/Thestalos, but pull Ghostrick Alucard, etc.

Its my understanding that there is only going to be one wave of tins this year Considering the contents, who cares? Konami is still getting our money.

There is only the one wave of tins, a Bujin and a Fire Fist. The biggest reason I can figure is because the Noble Knight set that is coming around when we'd normally get a Wave 2.

I agree with Ursiel but there are other factors that we should think about it... at least this: One Mega pack that wouldn't change and only 3 promos... that would make the wave 2 almost the same as wave 1... and we can expect the reprint of the promos on the mega pack either. It would be too hard to get some value with that. Look... what would the second wave have? Mecha Phantom Beasts? It sure could but I have a feeling that we will get them all on those tins... The same for other archtypes that will come out on the Mega Packs. If we would get 5 promos, some packs (that could change) and nothing theme-related, then it would be easier to get 2 waves out there.

Even keeping theme stamped tins we could have gotten 2 more; Geargia and Madolche. Cover promos would be Gear Gigant X and Madolche Queen Tiaramisu. Easy enough to figure out, but the new product releases is what is detracting from more tins. They want the products to sell and not have to compete with one another.

Also true.
And with this list, we all know why they aren't doing that with Geargias... hey, the deck isn't even reprinted on the tins... I guess that Fire Fists are on the same situation so... IDK...
I would say that they could do something with Ghostricks... that would make more sense but I guess that we will wait till next year.

Tin Variants have been revealed: yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/2014_Mega-TinsI wasn't expecting Jump promo reprints (Disappointed with their choices too). Kinda wanted to see Konami keep all the super variants archetype specifc. If they wanted to include Jump promos all this time they shouldn't have moved away form the 5 variants and 5 pack format they used to have. 5 Mega packs would have be epic with the number of cards they have in the them. Makes them live up to the term and name Mega Tins. Seen a few pack openings, I can confirm Number 101 is in the set.

Those happen to be the latest Manga promos for EU to finally get iirc. Maybe someone over there can break Archfiends. Burning Abyss folks will certainly appreciate that Nightmare Shark.
The Mega Packs seem to carry a lot of the original foils from LTGY to LVAL. I've seen Armades, 101, Exciton, Felgrand, Dichotomy, Sirius, Ghostrick Lantern, Alucard, Sombre, etc.

Well... Let's hope that the packs are worth the money, as the promos aren't that good.
