Seems like it should have a "If this card leaves the field due to an opponents card while attacking" kind of effect. Exploder dragon style, except battle or card effect. Unsure what it would do, but given the name....

IIRC Darklight has a destroyed by battle effect.

It's a normal spell so it probably won't trade out fusions. I'm agreeing, it will probably search. That gives TWO ways to search mask change/form change.

I am liking the spell search over the monster search effect. Got to special summon it just to get the search, meaning either Soul Charge or CoTH if the card is in the grave or spending half your LP to get it out via A HERO Alive.
Other option could be via Dian effect, but that means you already had a mask change to use. 2800 beater with special summon effect. I sooner use the summon effect for another Fusion or Xyz.

You're forgetting the really solid Summoner Monk play. Ditch spell, summon Dark, search spell, xyz for something.

Open 6 cards. Monk > Ditch Spell = 4 in hand 1 on field + summon if the effect goes through. Effect goes through > LV4 Dark HERO, Dark HERO effect searching the spell. This means you have.... 5 cards in hand + 2 cards on field. That is a plus one. Overlay R4.
Still have 6 cards + whatever advantage the xyz gets you + the Dark HERO's search.
This was a waste of resources before. But now it isn't as it increases the Dark HERO's search potential and makes a solid opening R4 play.

Hmm, this makes me want to revisit my Chaos HERO build again. See? It's pretty nice. As long as you don't get Monk negated, it's great advantage and a strong turn one monster. Heck, I just thought a way to continue that combo. Make Lavalval chain, detach MONK (Important to detach MONK as the Dark HERO will only use 1 effect per turn and you already searched a spell) send, say, Mali? And you have Mask Change in hand + Mali in graveyard. Bring out Dark Law. Also, it feels like you should almost be running foolish burial in this deck. Foolish Burial Shadow Mist for a search AND filling the grave for Sorc/BLS/DAD/Miracle Fusion/Etc. THE PLAYS. I WANT THIS STUFF ON DN.
