They could also just not give us that BW until next year like so many other promo cards they get. Nope he is in this set. Of course there is another BW Tuner that can be special summoned like Gale. Has a battle mode change effect when used for a synchro summon too. Gonna open up some very nice plays. So far this tuner and Black Sonic are the only good BW cards in the set. The other 2 tuners are meh. The other trap is interesting, but requires a BW to be destroyed by battle first. A battle destruction trigger is an unfavorable technique. Soul Charge is a 1000k Monster Reborn. Makes D.D. Crow even more viable now. I see this card getting Limited rather quickly. @ Drillwarrior: I already knew about this card and had decided to add it to my BW deck when it was first announced. I am loving that they took the Delta Crow route with that second line. Konami should have expanded the Delta Crow archetype with this trap card. That Shadow Trap card is going to be epic in QD decks.

Well Chain Burn can pack a mini-Watt suite. That can trigger it easily. It's just that you won't draw that monsters in the end so I guess that endeavour is null.

So yeah, this thing is out and the setlist is rather interesting. There's a bunch I like for the sake of collecting, others of some gimmicky relevance, and the most obvious ones for competitive relevance. Can't buy any yet, but I will be digging around for the singles and trade for them if I can.

Set is going to change things.
There are so many good cards that we can now use.
How many of us will be decking Soul Charge or Mathematician, or some of the more gimmicky cards in the next TCGR tournament Alz puts up?

I guess that Soul Charge will be used a lot... that is a sure thing.

Definitely. Just tried out a few deck ideas and for kicks I figured I'd try Soul Charge. They came in rather handy in the games I saw it.
