What is everyone's thoughts on Chidori? I know it is a must for this deck, but how many do you feel is necessary? 2 is always optimal. But, now with Dichtomy, you should never have to consider 3. People play Dichotomy in this? ... Wait, that makes a lot of sense actually.

Dragons, Winged Beasts, Thunder and Spellcaster being the 4 main types, yes it makes plenty of sense, IMO.

Dichotomy seems to have become one of those cards that is great in theory, but fails in testing. I had 1 in a deck that had 5 different types in the main, and another couple in the extra. It was dead almost all the time.

Yah, Dichotomy seems nice but is actually really terrible.

Yah, Dichotomy seems nice but is actually really terrible. I feel there is still potential there, considering its Avarice lite. Probably just needs a better engine.

It depends on how many types you're running in the deck. Maxx "C" adds another type if need be, for example, expanding the potential to 4 types in the Main Deck.

In most Harpie decks I have 3-4 types with Winged Beast, Dragon, Spellcaster, Insect (Maxx c as you mentioned), and depending on ow I'm playing it, Fairy it's Siplheed.
And the extra deck is consistently filled with 10 types.

Don't forget too that the deck can "easily" summon Daigusto Emeral if you're starved for a "Pot of Avarice" effect.

how about double cyclone in harpies, it will give them more opportunities to destroy their egotist searcher.

You can already get Hysteric Sign's second effect rather easily via Summoner Monk or using your own Harpie's Hunting Ground. Unless you're playing Artifacts somehow, I'd rather not use Double Cyclone. I'd sooner run Magic Planter because of all the Continuous Traps the deck can play.

Spirits and Harpies suddenly seems intriguing. Abusing multiple Normal Summons with Aratama, Nikatama and Kagetokage as a suite with Yaksha, your minimal Harpie engine and sign to just keep your hand massive... I think there is something there. Anyone care to attempting build one with me??

If harpies open with monsters consistently enough, they can main 3 Icarus attacks. Chainables are always helpful.
