Most times I wouldn't see getting 2 activations out of it when played in a deck that will most likely mill it away. That is 1 usually and 2 if you're lucky. Playing at least 2 gets you 2 uses, and a better chance at 3. 4 uses is against all odds within the LS archetype.

Sided the second one for decks with lots of targeting effects (like Dark World, for example). Also, came to the conclusion, that despite the fact that I really like Jain, Triple Raiden is just more efficient. Also, double Lance seems to be enough for most match-ups. Side in the third when needed.

I hear Fire Fist and Mermail have a lot of targeting effects. And are, you know, more common than DW.

Worth a side maybe. I wish it was a field spell and was able to target Judgment Dragon

Why would Lightsworn Sanctuary be better served as a Field Spell Card, out of curiosity?
I like it at first glance. I don't know if it'll be any good, but I do like it.
Also, note that it can remove Shine Counters from any card on the field, not just itself - so it can pull them off of Realm of Light too. Is the interaction enough to make Realm of Light worth it? Probably not, but it's at least worth noting.

Ideally they release some sort of "gateway of the LS" to make this whole "shine counter" BS take off. barring that it's kinda meh.

If you could've discarded any monster/card, this might have been too strong. As it is, it doesn't allow the retrieval of Judgment Dragon since that would be too strong for such an easy to summon monster with a dangerous effect.

Watch, in DUEA there will be a LS Honest (probably an ultra or secret TCG exclusive), and LS Sanctuary will be used in sets of 2 or 3. Calling it now.

I'll counter your call with a call of my own: I say there isn't an "LS honest" type card, but if we do get a TCg exclusive it's going to be an XYZ (rank less than 4, probably 3) OR a "gateway of the LS" type card that makes use of "shine counters" to either draw cards or place yarded cards back into deck. Stil gonna be a TCG exclusive.

Battling Boxers Honest doesn't have wings. I think you're reaching, sir.

Battling Boxers Honest doesn't have wings. I think you're reaching, sir. Okay, bar 2 exceptions. Even so, Konami plays the long term. A theme specific Honest is the only thing the deck needs. They know it. We know it. If we were to get what we need, it doesn't matter what rarity or how hard to get it is, it will push units for the Structure, the next set, and everything that has shiny reprints in it. Which also screams they are going to hit JD.

Bar more than 2 exceptions.
However I agree, it does make some sense as a card choice.
